Job overview

Vision for Education are urgently recruiting a teacher to lead the induction programme of a school in South Tyneside that caters for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. Upon first being referred to the provision, students will typically spend up to two weeks in induction, getting to know the values and expectations of the school.

The role would require someone that has the patience, resilience and empathy to relate to and inspire children that have been referred from their mainstream schools. You would be responsible for the delivery of a range of subjects and be comfortable in dealing with challenging behaviour.

The position is due to start on a supply basis as soon as possible and could become a long term or permanent position for the right candidate.
