About Charlotte House Preparatory School for Girls

Charlotte House is a small, girls-only prep school, situated in attractive grounds on the residential outskirts of Rickmansworth.  Girls join us at three and leave after secondary transfer at 11.  The school is non-selective but has high academic standards as one of its primary aims is the successful transfer of girls following 11+.  The school has a wonderful reputation locally and is well known for the calibre of its pupils.  In addition to our academic approach we place great emphasis on sport, music and drama.  It is as a consequence of this that our girls are happy, confident and socially adept.

Charlotte House was originally founded as a PNEU school and as such continues to adhere to PNEU principles, seeing each child as an individual and building strong relationships with parents.  With pupil numbers currently standing at 120 it is clear that girls-only preparatory education is still very much in demand.
