Position Information 

Baradine Central School  is a small rural inclusive school with an enrolment of 125 students K-12, 56% identifying as Aboriginal. It is located 47kms North West of Coonabarabran between the Pilliga State Forest and the Warrumbungle National Park. Baradine Central is a proud Positive Behaviour for Learning school with the core values being quality, participation, respect & safety. The school is integral to the local community. Students are drawn from the communities of Baradine and Gwabegar and surrounding rural areas.

The school features diverse educational opportunities, outstanding resources and integrated technology with very dedicated and caring staff and supportive Parents & Citizens' Association.

The school’s  focus is on meeting the complex needs or a diverse range of learners and improving the learning outcomes and well-being of all students.

Specific Selection Criteria 

1.     Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (Year 7-8), Industrial Technology Metal and approval and/or willingness to teach Industrial Technology Timber.

2.     Capacity to design and deliver innovative, differentiated, and inclusive programs for a diverse range of student learning needs.

3.     Ability to integrate a range of technologies to engage students in learning.

4.     Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to contribute to faculty and whole school programs and build positive relationships with staff, students and parents.​

  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
