Position Information 

Evans High is an innovative school with state of the art STEM facilities, Chromebooks and panels in every classroom. We are looking for a teacher who is ready to work with a great TAS staff to facilitate the development and delivery of a strong computing program. Our school has an enrollment of over 820 students across the high school, the Intensive English Centre and Support Unit with 4% First Nations and 72% NESB learners who excel across a range of extra-curriulum pursuits including student leadership, chess, the Arts, performance, sport and sustainability projects in the wider community.  There is a strong camaraderie amongst the staff and the school receives great support and opportunities from its local community.

  
Specific Selection Criteria 
  • Approval to teach Information Processes & Technology, Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8) approval and/or willingness to teach Information and Software Technology.
  • Ability to design and deliver innovative Stage 4-6 ICT based teaching and learning programs to cater for a wide range of students to inspire improved achievement
  • Energetic and innovative teacher committed to elevating ICT across the school with the ability to deliver professional learning
  • Proven capacity to work collaboratively within the TAS faculty
  • Ability to work with the TSO to manage hardware and software systems in an extremely well-equipped school
  
Conditions 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
