Teaching ServiceGeorges River College Peakhurst Campus is a co-educational middle school campus, which caters for students in Year 7 to Year 10. We are part of a multi-campus collegiate with three middle years 7-10 campuses (GRC Hurstville, GRC Peakhurst and GRC Penshurst) and one senior campus years 11 and 12 (GRC Oatley).
GRC Peakhurst Campus has an enrolment of 850 students and includes a support unit for students with moderate intellectual and physical disabilities. The student body consists of 50% of students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) and 3% of students from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.

- Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8) and Industrial Technology Graphics.
- Evidence of effective classroom practice that creates a culture of high expectations and accommodates for students with a wide range of learning needs through differentiated curriculum, classroom expectations and integration of technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative member of the TAS faculty, contributing to programming, assessment, resource development and driving faculty projects.
- Capacity to work as part of a whole school community to achieve the school's targets and deliver the initiatives in the Strategic Directions.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
