We are offering an exciting opportunity to retrain as a Teacher of Mathematics at The Oxford Academy.  

We are a Good school with Outstanding Leadership Management and Professional Development following our recent Ofsted inspection and ranked in the top 0.2% of schools nationally and where behaviour in and around the school is exemplary.   

We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated teachers who are keen to change direction within their career to teach Mathematics.

The successful candidate would join a department that are dedicated and supportive, with a strong team focus on developing teaching and learning. 

The successful candidates will need to be enthusiastic about challenge and committed to change, a reflective practitioner who is interested in developing their career as part of a dynamic and supportive team.   

The Oxford Academy has received ‘outstanding’ for professional development by Ofsted.  

This opportunity would provide successful candidates with a carefully created and structured programme that includes a reduced timetable, external training using subject specialist training courses and of course in-house support and training.  

A recruitment and retention allowance may be available to suitable candidates. 

The successful candidates will work in well-resourced classrooms where white boards are used and provided with a laptop.  In addition to this, The Oxford Academy has an onsite gym for which staff have free access as well as a cycle to work scheme plus other benefits.
