The successful applicant will:
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
- hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
We have 2 positions available for teachers of Physical Education and one other subject combination. One is a full time continuing position and the other is fixed term parental leave cover for 12 months. The ability to teach Religion would be highly desirable for both of these positions.
The possibility of a 12 month Sport Coordinator role exists – please indicate if you wish to express an interest in this role.
The successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to the education of young women and the Co-Curricular life of the College, work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/carers, an ability to attend to detail in innovative and creative practices, and possess a clear understanding of the new Australian Curriculum.
St John Fisher College is a Catholic secondary college in the Mercy tradition offering a contemporary education for young women. Administered by Brisbane Catholic Education the College has an expected enrolment of 550 students in 2020. With an emphasis on enquiry based learning, the College offers an academically challenging curriculum and a diverse range of pathways, with an emphasis on building resilience.
