To support the teaching and learning of pupils with autism within the Autism Resource Base (ARB), under the direction of the class teacher and leadership team. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a safe, structured, and autism-friendly environment that enables pupils to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are looking for an a Learning Support Assistant with:
• Effective use of ICT to support learning
• Use of other equipment technology – video, photocopier
• Understanding of relevant polices/codes of practice and awareness of rele-vant legislation
• General understanding of national/foundation stage curriculum and other basic learning programmes/strategies
• Basic understanding of child development and learning
• Ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportuni-ties
• Ability to relate well to children and adults
• Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsi-bilities and your own position within these excellent communication and strong in-terpersonal skills;
• a strong understanding
