Job overview

This position is for either a fixed term contract or as a temporary contract. If the contract is fixed term it is because it is linked to our school needs as we transition from a 2-form school to a 1form school. If it is a temporary contract it is linked to a particular pupil who may choose to leave the school. We will review and extend the fixed-term contract on a yearly basis.

As part of your role you will be expected to run a breakfast club or afterschool club each week.

Kilburn Grange School is a free School, which opened in the London Borough of Brent in September 2015 in state-of-the-art facilities on Priory Park Road, NW6. We are one of the ten primary schools in the Bellevue Place Education Trust (BPET) family of schools situated across London and Berkshire.

Who you are

You have experience and passion for working as a Teaching and Learning Support Assistant. Your creative and innovative approaches to teaching and learning, mean that you are able to support class teachers to create exciting learning experiences in a stimulating environment. You have creative skills and are able to support extra-curricular clubs outside of the school day. You are committed to excellence, inclusion and challenge. Equally important you are forward thinking and able to use your initiative and take a lead on learning if necessary. You are excited by the opportunity and motivated to make the most of it.
