Teaching Assistant 2/3 HLTA

Required 27 March 2017 (Flexible depending on circumstances).

28.75 (variable) hours a week.

We are looking for an outstanding Teaching Assistant who will fit well into our hard-working and positive staff team. We are flexible with the teaching assistance qualifications but must be confident or willing to undertake qualifications and/or training to cover some class teaching in which you can claim a HLTA salary. At all other times you will be paid according to your level of qualification. The HLTA salary is from £23,166 to £27,394.

The year group will depend on the skills of the candidate although confidence and willingness to work throughout the school would be preferred.

Essential: You must have NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent), English and Maths GCSE Grade A - C (or equivalent), experience of teaching groups of children for intervention in maths / reading / writing.
