We have an exciting opportunity for a new classroom Teaching Assistant at Admirals Academy. 

As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will be working predominantly in a classroom setting, under the instruction and guidance of a Teacher or other senior staff. Providing quality support, working closely with pupils individually and/or a group, to encourage learning and development activities that support curriculum delivery, teaching and learning outcomes, and positive pupil contribution.

Skills & Experience

An ideal candidate would have:

First aid training or willingness to undertake the training in the Academy;

a desire to support children to develop a love of learning and be the best they can be;

the ability to communicate effectively with both adults and children, of all abilities;

the ability to engage with and motivate children;

Flexible and able to cover a variety of classes and age groups as required;

Willingness to learn and adhere to relevant policies and codes of practice and legislation;

the ability to work constructively as part of a team
