Overview of the role

We are looking to employ an enthusiastic, well organised and nurturing Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs to achieve their potential, at our school of Drayton Parslow Village School.

Start Date

September 2023 – Fixed Term contract (In first instance until 31st August 2024)

Potential Hours

Monday to Friday (8.30am to 1.15pm) but we are happy to offer some flexibility in working hours.

About the Role

We need someone who is kind, caring and supportive. We’re looking for a team player who wants the best for all our children and support those who need that little bit extra. The successful candidate will work with individuals and groups of children to support learning, supervise and care for children, carry out administrative tasks and support children during lunchtimes.

The ideal candidate will have

•      This role would be suitable either for a candidate who has prior experience working with children with SEN or for a graduate who is looking to begin a career in teaching.

•      Experience of establishing successful learning relationships with a variety of pupils at the relevant age.

•      Experience of the role of a TA and in particular classroom organisation and management.

•      Experience of working with pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs).

•      Experience of supporting the planning and delivery of the curriculum.

•      Vision aligned with The Three Schools’ high aspirations and high expectations of self and others.
