Working Pattern: Term Time, 37 hours per week, 38 weeks plus INSET days (total working weeks of 39)

About You:
Ash Green School are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people to thrive. You will be someone who builds positive relationships with pupils, demonstrates patience and resilience, and brings a warm, encouraging presence to the classroom.
Our Ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting young people, either in a school or a transferable setting, with the ability to adapt to a range of needs.
Demonstrable numeracy and literacy skills, equivalent to GCSE English and Maths at grades A*–C / 9–4.
Reliable organisational skills, including effective time management, resource management, and the ability to handle competing priorities.

At Ash Green School, our support staff team plays a central role in creating a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment for every student. The team includes specialists across safeguarding, SEND, pastoral care, administration, and year-group support, all working collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure students feel supported both academically and personally.
Whether based in the classroom, in pastoral roles, or within the administrative hub, all members of the support staff team contribute to the warm, collaborative culture that Ash Green School is known for.
