Job overview

Vision for Education, (the supply arm of TES and leading educational recruitment specialists) are looking to recruit a full time, Level 3 or above, Teaching Assistant to work in their Reception class. The position is an ongoing role which offers an immediate start date for the successful applicant.

The role will be based within the Reception class and will involve the suitable person working on a 1:1 basis supporting a Reception pupil with ASD.

Person Specification:

  • Must be Level 3 or above qualified
  • Able to work on a full time basis
  • Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge and understanding
  • Experience providing 1:1 with ASD
  • Able to use initiative, work well as a team
  • Capable of devising suitable lesson plans to support/develop children’s learning
  • Strong and enthusiastic presence in the classroom
  • Experience liaising with outside agencies and communicating at all levels
