Are you an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant looking to join a warm and welcoming school?

Working with a range of students from age 11 - 18, you will be supporting those with learning needs, assist in maintaining behaviour standards and keep the students on task. You will assist the teacher by planning and differentiating work for students to improve their leaning.

This is a permanent role working for 13 hours per week, term time only.

There will be opportunities to develop within the school and make a valued contribution to our children's learning. There are also additional opportunities to take on extra paid responsibilities.

The Trinity Catholic School is a Secondary school and is located in Nottingham. We are an Ofsted-rated Good school.

You will:

  • Hold a recognised level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Monitor the progress of students and implement strategies to support their continued learning.
  • Be caring and supportive, and committed to achieving excellent results.
  • Support the Teachers to inspire and enthuse our students.
  • Promote the well-being of our student’s providing positive guidance and support.
  • Be able to inspire learning and progress by keeping students on task and setting high expectations.
