Teaching Assistant

This is an exciting fixed term contract opportunity for a keen and dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting the development of the children in our school.

Your opportunity

The successful candidate will support the class teacher in the delivery of learning and teaching activities within the classroom, small groups or on an individual basis. This is currently for a fixed term contract until the end of the summer term, with a view to extending for the next academic year.

What we are looking for

We are seeking two committed and enthusiastic individuals who will be passionate about children's learning, development, and welfare. Individuals who can assist in preparing the classroom, support the children and teacher with professionalism. Experience working within education would be desirable, however, the successful candidate will be able evidence their understanding of the role through their application and interview.

The Details

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary: GLF Associate 2 point 1 £20, 809 FTE

Actual Salary: £11,810.26 pro rata

Hours of work: Monday – Friday 08.30 – 1.15pm, 23.75hrs per week, 39 weeks per year

Closing Date: 12th March 2024, 9am
