Whitefield School is a vibrant, dynamic and successful school based in North London. The school has excellent transport links, is very well resourced and over two million pounds has been spent on refurbishments in the last four years.

Level 1 Teaching Assistant (SEN- Special Educational Needs)

We are looking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will work alongside teachers and providing valuable support in lessons. The successful candidate will also use specialist knowledge for planning, developing support materials, provide care and supervision to our young learners. The role will involve working across all subjects and year groups with students of all abilities. You must have a proactive approach to work and be able to easily adapt to an ever changing environment and job role. 

Level 2 Teaching Assistant -(ASCP- Autistic Specialist Condition Provision) 

The ideal candidate must have some experience in supporting children with autism and will be able to use their specialist knowledge for planning and developing support materials and provide care and supervision to our young learners. The role will involve working across all subjects and year groups with students of all abilities. You must have a proactive approach to work and be able to easily adapt to an ever changing environment and job role. For this role training will also be provided. 

The ideal candidate will:

• be a graduate 

• be a highly enthusiastic, energetic, proactive individual who has the passion and ability to motivate and inspire the students 

• have the ability to work with students with autism (level 2)

• have excellent, written and verbal communication skills and be able to relate well to all members of the school community

The successful candidate will have access to continuous professional learning through our dedicated internal and external CPD programme, with the possibility of progression to Higher Level Teaching Assistant and eventually on to a teaching programme.
