Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work 1-to-1 with a child with complex behaviour. We pride ourselves in being a nurturing school and we are looking for the right person who is able to build very strong relationships with children.
Job Start: as soon as possible
Salary: Based on scale 2 (between points 3 and 4); starting at £24012 per annum (pro rata working 39 weeks of the year)
Working hours: 32.5 hours a week / 39 weeks of the year (term time only)
We are looking for a candidate with:
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- support pupils consistently while recognising and responding to their individual needs
- the ability to rapidly build relationships
- the willingness and ability to
- some knowledge / experience of primary schools
- teaching assistant experience would be desirable
- willingness to uphold the values of our Church of England school
- commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practice and equal opportunities for all
