Job overview

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in our wonderful school. We pride ourselves in being a nurturing school and we are looking for the right person who is able to build very strong relationships with children.


Job Start: as soon as possible

Salary: Based on scale 2 (between points 3 and 4); starting at £24012 per annum (pro rata working 39 weeks of the year)

Working hours: 8.30-12.15 each day / 39 weeks of the year (term time only)

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent 
  • promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
  • support pupils consistently while recognising and responding to their individual needs
  • the ability to rapidly build relationships
  • the willingness and ability to 
  • some knowledge / experience of primary schools
  • teaching assistant experience would be desirable
  • willingness to uphold the values of our Church of England school 
  • commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practice and equal opportunities for all
