Someone who will show initiative and a keenness to be involved in all aspects of the academy life;

A teaching assistant who is able to enthuse and inspire students;

A proven track record of good working relationships and professionalism;

Confidence in working independently with small groups of students

About Harris Academy Falconwood


Harris Academy Falconwood opened in September 2008. The academy’s specialisms are Enterprise and Sport with a can-do, enterprising culture in which everyone is stretched, nurtured and encouraged. Our accommodation since September 2011 has been a new purpose built academy to the value of £25 million. We have twice been judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted, most recently in November 2017.

About Harris Academy Falconwood

School summary

Harris Academy Falconwood is an 11-18 co-educational academy for 1,100 students. The academy opened in September 2008 on the site of the predecessor school. Harris Falconwood benefits from a brand new, state of the art £25 million building offering the very latest facilities and equipment. Ofsted judged the academy to be Outstanding at both its inspections in 2011 and 2014.

Our academy has a can-do enterprising culture. Our students know that, through hard work and determination, they can achieve anything and everything they set their minds to.

We combine the traditional values of discipline, respect and good behaviour with contemporary best practice in teaching and technology. With these core principles in place, we develop our students into happy, educated young people with the desire and drive to succeed.
