Working for Eastcote Primary Academy: At Eastcote Primary Academy, a one-form entry school, we pride ourselves on our community atmosphere.  We are very fortunate to have a building that provides us with a wonderful learning and working environment for children and staff alike.

All staff at Eastcote is committed to ensuring that the school keeps its friendly, caring atmosphere whilst ensuring that children develop a broad range of life skills.  We want all the children to become confident, independent learners who show respect for one another and can talk articulately about their feelings and ideas.  We teach a thematic curriculum which aims to be responsive to children's interests and backgrounds.  In addition to developing the basic skills of literacy and numeracy, children also learn scientific, technological, creative and thinking skills to help them prepare for life in the wider world.

We participate in a wide variety of sporting activities through inter-school competitions, our house system and lunchtime and after school clubs.  We are always keen to extend our range of partnerships with parents and community groups to ensure that children at Eastcote enjoy exciting opportunities and have an enriched learning experience.  Educational visits, school journey and visitors play an important part in school life.  We have also been awarded Healthy Schools London Bronze Award which shows we are supporting the health and wellbeing of our school community.

Working with Leigh Academies Trust: As of September 2019, our Trust is comprised of 25 geographically organised academies (11 secondaries, 13 primaries and 1 special) educating over 15,000 students, and employing over 2,500 talented staff.  We also have three further academies in development phase, due to open between September 2020-2021.  The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North West Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training providers and a large teaching school.

As part of Leigh Academies Trust you will have ample opportunity to collaborate with your peers both within the academy and across the whole Trust.  This is an important part of our vision as we know through experience that we perform better when we work together.  You are supported to undertake regular self-development to continue your professional development and hopefully progress further within the organisation.

The academy is committed to safeguarding children and successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.  Our commitment to safeguarding is underpinned by robust processes and checks which are in place across the Trust.
