Can you inspire our students and provide them with the support they require to fulfil their potential? Do you have a passion for working with students with SEN? We have a great opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient individual to join us in the role of Teaching Assistant at Cornerstone School. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that will be changing lives and positively transforming the local community.
The overarching purpose of the role is to provide 1:1 and group support to students, mainly within the classroom, who have a diagnosis of autism and whose related Social, Emotional and Mental Health prevent them from accessing and thriving in mainstream education. The successful candidates will need to offer enthusiasm, flexibility, a sense of humour and a willingness to learn and adapt as the school grows each year. Experience working with young people with autism and SEMH is desirable.
