Teaching Assistant

Bursted Wood Primary is a popular over-subscribed school in Bexleyheath with 510 children age 4-11years on roll. 

We offer high standards in education and believe our children to be quite exceptional; they are respectful, kind and demonstrate a desire to learn.  Our school motto of ‘Care and Respect’ is exercised by all and considered to be an important factor in ensuring our continued success. 

We are seeking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to enable access to learning for pupils including those with special needs.  This may include assisting with any medical needs as required. The post is for 25 hours per week to commence as soon as possible. 

Status: Permanent                  
Hours: 25 per week  
Weeks per year: 38 (Term time + 5 Training Days)    
Salary/Grade: Bex041 – Salary Point pro rata to 39 weeks per year
Post Start Date: ASAP
