We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our ‘Excellent’ school in Bingley!

About the Role

Contract Type: Full Time, Term Time

Working Pattern: 8 am – 5 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: NLW

Start Date: September 2025

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils to support their individual and collective development, both academically and in their general wellbeing.
  • Supervising individual and groups of children.
  • Supporting teaching staff in preparing for lessons, including activities such as photocopying, setting up tables etc.
  • Supporting teachers and pupils at school outings or school events when appropriate.
  • Supporting teachers in managing challenging pupil behaviour and reporting any issues where appropriate and necessary.


About You : We are looking for someone who has:

  • Level 3 qualification and Maths & English at GCSE 4 or above is an advantage.
  • Experience of working with or caring for children of primary school age, including SEND.
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Friendly and approachable, professional and positive at all times with.
  • Able to strike a good professional rapport with students, staff, and parents.
  • Committed to actively support the visions, aims and ethos of the school.
