Job overview

LEPS is a new, two-class, 14-place provision for young people who present with social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

The successful candidates will have a flexible approach, knowledge and experience of working with children in KS1 and/or KS2. Experience of working with children who have autism would be an advantage.

The post requires someone who is highly resilient, able to work well as a member of a successful team and someone who has highly developed interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour. In addition, they will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate and ambitious with a drive and commitment to improve the life chances of our young people. You will have a dynamic, exceptional and creative approach to improving the teaching and learning in a way that benefits all children.

Application is by Application Form to Longspee Academy, outlining experience and skills relevant to the post.

For an informal discussion regarding this post, or to arrange a visit to LEPS, please contact James Franzen, Principal.

It is the intention of Ambitions Academies Trust to use its resources flexibly to meet the needs of pupils.  All staff are therefore allocated to a place of work, however, Ambitions Academies Trust reserves the right to require staff to support the needs of our pupils throughout the Academy as appropriate; which may involve re-location.  This is not anticipated to be frequent or indeed regular but you should be aware of this requirement
