Summary of the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working person to join our team for September 2023. As a teaching assistant, you will support our teachers in creating an engaging and inspiring learning environment. The role will include working in the classroom to help children fulfil their potential and support the class teacher by delivering the best possible outcomes for each child. 

The school day runs from 8:00am until 4:00pm, with after school clubs running until 4:45pm. 

Criteria for applicants: 

No previous classroom experience is needed but the role would suit those contemplating a career in teaching.

We welcome applications from graduates and those with a formal childcare qualification. 

A Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, Early Years, Teaching support/Assistant (a qualification that meets the Early Years Criteria to be counted in the level 3 ratios) is desirable if looking to work in the Reception class. 

All applicants need to have the Right to Work in the UK to be considered for the role.
