Vision for Education are recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant with a level 2 qualification in either Makaton or British Sign Language. This position is to work within an SEND setting in Northumberland working with students who have a range of learning, physical and communication difficulties.
This position is a full time, long term position beginning on 5th November, running up until July 2019.
To be eligible for this position you must:
- Have either a BSL or Makaton level 2 qualification
- Be available for work 5 days per week
- Be comfortable supporting on a 1:1 basis with a student with learning and communication difficulties
- Be a proactive, engaging and motivated teaching assistant with experience working with young people with learning difficulties
