The Heys School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative, and passionate Teaching Assistant  to join our attendance team to help ensure that our students achieve high standards and maximise their potential, to be the best they can be, every day.

Teaching Assistant

Hours: 31 Hours Per Week, Term time plus 3 days

Salary: Grade 6 SCP6 :  £18,851.41 (£25,989 pro rata) per annum

We are seeking a Teaching Assistant who will work with and supervise identified students with SEND and provide support for other students with SEND in the classroom as required, ensuring their safety and access to learning to maximise their potential to be the best they can be, every day.

Applicants should be creative and forward thinking and have the drive and motivation to support the further development of the department and the school. You will be joining a committed team of staff, who work with enthusiastic and positive students who are keen to learn.

The school is on an exciting journey as they work in partnership with The Rowan Learning Trust.

The interview process will consist of doing a small teaching intervention with some of our SEN students and an interview. If successful you will be invited for an interview for the role as well as a tour of the school.
