Cornwall Education Learning Trust (CELT) require a Teaching Assistant to support pupils learning across the primary age range. The post will also include lunch-time cover.
This is an exciting time to join this small, friendly school that is committed to providing a wide range of high quality learning experiences. There are currently 135 pupils on roll in five mixed age classes. We are committed to appointing the right person – previous experience, including the teaching of phonics, is desirable.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Support the teacher in delivering the curriculum
• Cover classes as required
• Provide lunch-time cover
• Undertake group work
• Assist in break-time supervision
• Assist in the preparation of teaching resources
• Be able to communicate effectively with children and parents
