We are seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to join our supportive and forward-thinking school.  This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is keen to develop their skills within education.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

·       Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.

·       Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.

·       Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

·       Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring that every child can access learning.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

·       Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task.

·       Deliver pre-pared work and manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

·       Maintain a calm, purposeful learning atmosphere.

·       Provide feedback to class teaching on pupil progress and behaviour.

What We’re Looking For

·       Have experience working with children or young people (school-based experience is desirable).

·       Hold (or are willing to work towards) relevant qualifications.
