Hours: 36 hrs per week, term time only, plus 10 days to be worked during school closure periods

Due to increased demand for places in the Junior School, Croydon High School is looking for a highly motivated Teaching Assistant to work alongside class teachers to encourage and support pupils in their learning.

Be it academic, practical, behavioural, or social, the role will involve supporting the learning of individual pupils, as well as small groups, by complementing teaching and learning strategies deployed by the teacher. 

The successful candidate will bring enthusiasm, flexibility, exceptional inter-personal skills and a passion for education. They will embody our ethos of ‘Every Girl, Every Day’ and will share our belief in the importance of a personalised approach to learning for each and every child.

A recognised TA qualification i.e. NVQ, NNEB, City & Guilds, BTEC etc. or relevant experience is essential.

A willingness to participate in further training and developmental opportunities offered is equally important.
