Salary (Croydon Grade 3, points 5 – 7): £24,804 - £25,629FTE

Actual Pro-rate Salary: £22,685 - £23,439

The Minster Junior School is a large Junior School with approximately 440 pupils on roll. As a Church of England school, we value all God’s children and welcome children of all faiths to our family.

 

Our school is set in spacious grounds and is very well equipped with excellent resources. We have a very skilled and caring group of teachers who bring out the best in all our children. Being at the heart of the community, we ensure we work very closely in partnership with parents, carers and governors, where we live by our vision statement,

 

We are looking to appoint a capable and proactive teaching assistant to support children’s learning in the classroom. The role will involve 1:1 support for children with a range of additional needs, and also small groups of pupils. The post-holder will also assist with lunchtime supervision every day.

 

The successful applicant will:

 ·      Have excellent English and Mathematics skills

·      Have excellent communication and spoken language skills

·      Have a good level of general education

·        Have experience or knowledge of SEND including ASD

·      Be willing to support children’s intimate care

·      Be motivated and have a good level of energy

·      Be confident in running interventions

·      Show resilience and enthusiasm

·      Be willing to train and develop new skills

·      Be a team player
