Make a Real Impact at Saffron Valley Collegiate

At Saffron Valley Collegiate (SVC), we provide a fresh start for young people who need it most. Based on four sites in the borough of Croydon, we cater to permanently excluded students and offer targeted short-term interventions for those struggling in mainstream education. Our small class sizes, tailored support, and whole-child approach create a nurturing and structured environment where students can re-engage with their learning.

With four specialised provisions, we support students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4, as well as those with medical needs and anxiety through on-site and online learning. Our curriculum blends academic subjects with vocational pathways, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

We are also home to the Taskforce programme, a pioneering multi-agency initiative that brings together mental health specialists, education professionals, youth and family support workers, to address students’ needs beyond the classroom. This innovative and holistic approach is already making a significant impact on students’ lives and Post 16 outcomes.

If you’re passionate about transforming education, supporting young people to overcome barriers, and working in a dynamic, forward-thinking team, SVC is the place for you.
