Allestree Woodlands School is seeking to appoint a teaching assistant who is able to inspire students, encourage independence and promote inclusion throughout the school.

As a result of career progression and expansion we are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our developing SEND team. We are proud to offer a SEND provision that includes an Enhanced Resource Faculty for young people with Hearing impairment. We employ a team of Teaching Assistants and Communication Support Workers to support students with a range of needs in school. Our team is led by an Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion who is our SENCo and our Deputy SENCo leads on the ERF provision.

The full-time position is full working 32.5 hours week for 39 weeks per year; part-time hours can be considered. NJC Scale 3-4 points 5/11 £19,312 - £21,748. Pro rata to weeks and hours worked actual salary is £14,282-£16,083 per year. Salary point dependent on qualifications and experience.
