The Mease is a new academy which opened in September 2019, part of the Spencer Academies Trust, and you could be part of the team shaping it! We are looking for two Teaching Assistants to join our growing team, helping us to create a great experience for our pupils – you will be mainly class based with one vacancy in KS1 and the other in Lower KS2.

We are looking for a practitioner who:

  • Loves working with children and puts their wellbeing first
  • Has the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Is motivated and passionate to achieve the very best for the children in our care and makes a genuine difference
  • Enjoys a continuous provision approach, supporting children to learn through play
  • Makes learning visible through inquiry and can make learning fun
  • Takes their own initiative to assess and evaluate pupils’ needs
  • Has excellent communication skills and a sense of humour
  • Will deliver whole class sessions in the absence of the teacher
  • Has early years and/or key stage 1 experience
  • Has experience in Lower KS2
  • Wants to be involved in everything!
