Exmouth Community College is seeking Teaching Assistants (2 posts) to join the Learning Support team from September 2017.
The Learning Support team consists of approximately 40 Teaching Assistants (TAs), supporting students across the Curriculum. The team is managed by a Lead Teaching Assistant and the Assistant SENDCO, with groups of 6 being managed on a day-to-day basis by Senior TAs. We are seeking Teaching Assistants currently who would be committed to the College and supporting our students. If you have experience of working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), or you are looking for a career in support we would be pleased to hear from you.
Purpose of the Job:
To work under the direct instruction of teaching staff, to support access to learning for students and assist in the management of students. Work might occasionally, but not regularly, take place outside the main teaching area.
Post 1: Permanent
Post 2: Fixed Term (Parental Leave Cover). Expected end date: 5 February 2018.
The starting date for both posts is 5 September 2017.
