Aureus School is a brand new mainstream state school and provides secondary education to students aged 11 to 16 years within the Didcot area. The school opened in September 2017 and will have 600 students on roll from September 2019 including Years 7-9, with capacity for 1200 students. Our mission is simple: we will strive to educate the whole student so that each individual in our community may ‘Grow, Learn and Flourish’.
We are looking to expand our team and are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support students with their literacy and numeracy either on 1:1 basis or in small groups. Working within the SEND and Inclusion Team you will providing classroom support to specific students. This appointment will be for 28 hours per week over 39 weeks of the year - term time (including INSET days). Working hours are 8.45am-3.00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8.15am-1.15pm on Fridays. The actual starting salary will be £11,485 with an FTE equivalent of £17,322.
