Grove Academy is an exciting new free school which opened in September 2017 and is the first all-through school to open in Slough. We initially opened with Reception, Years 1, 2, 3 and 7 on a temporary site in the Centre of Slough.
We are looking for a teaching assistant to work with us in Reception, KS1, 2 or 3. The successful candidate will be a happy, caring and enthusiastic person who will work closely with the class teachers to provide a supportive and exciting learning environment.
Grove Academy is the second school opened by The SASH Education Trust (Slough Association of Secondary Head teachers) and we benefit enormously from the support and collaboration of the 14 secondary Head teachers in Slough. Ditton Park Academy is the first school which is part of our multi-academy trust.

About Grove Academy
Grove Academy is the first all-through school to open in Slough and provides opportunity and education for 4 to 16 year olds, underpinned by high-quality teaching and learning and a common assessment framework. This continuity ensures that we can avoid the dips in performance associated with transition from one phase or school to another.
As one school we are able to teach subjects to our younger children via specialist subject teachers, such as modern foreign languages and PE. We can provide pastoral care for children in challenging circumstances by offering a ‘joined-up’ strategy and support families more consistently over a longer time.
