Job overview

St Mary's Priory Infant and Junior Schools

This position is for 4 days (Monday-Thursday).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistant to join our wonderful two-form entry schools. The successful candidate may be asked to work across the school so must have sufficient literacy and numeracy skills. Ideally, the candidate would hold an undergraduate degree, however, this is not essential.

St Mary’s Priory is a lively and diverse school with enthusiastic children who behave excellently and are highly motivated to learn. Our end of Key Stage results are a reflection of our dedicated staff and the broad and balanced curriculum offered to the children. Children learn literacy, history and geography in a cross-curricular way, making it an extremely engaging way for the children to learn.

St Mary’s Priory Infant and Junior Schools are dedicated to providing exceptional continuous professional development and working with leaders to guide them throughout their career.

The interviews will include a short test in literacy and numeracy.

If you are an enthusiastic and flexible teaching assistant or recent graduate, and would like to join our team, please complete the application  and the recruitment monitoring form and email both to us: admin@stmarysrcpriory.haringey.sch.uk

We warmly welcome visits to St Mary’s. Please email to arrange a visit: admin@stmarysrcpriory.haringey.sch.uk

The closing date for this role is Thursday 27th  May, however, the School reserves the right to commence the interview process at any time prior to the closing date so early application is recommended.

St Mary’s Priory Infant and Junior Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be expected to complete an enhanced DBS check and to disclose any information relevant to Disqualification by Association.
