We are looking for an experienced and talented Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. This is an immediately available position, Wednesdays only, for autumn term 2017.
Menorah Foundation School is a Voluntary Aided Jewish school. The setting for Nursery is in a state of the art new building with exceptional amenities, a wonderful indoor/ outdoor environment, and a welcoming and professional staff. Children attend the Nursery from the age of 3.
At Menorah Foundation we believe that all children thrive when they are consistently happy and safe in their school experience. We ensure that lessons in our school are creative and encourage playing, discovery and enrichment.
What we are looking for:
- Recent experience of working in a school or educational establishment, ideally including working with SEND pupils in a mainstream setting
- The ability to respond calmly to behaviours SEND pupils may display as a result of their needs
- An in-depth understanding of areas of learning, including the principles of student development and learning processes
- Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive, collaborative relationships with staff, students and external agencies
