Hours for this role are - 30.5 hours a week term time based (39 weeks)
Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant at Rivers Academy, you will work closely with teachers to support student learning and development. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one or small group support for students who need extra help, and contribute to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good communication skills with both adults and children
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and understanding towards young learners’ needs
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills appropriate for supporting Key Stage 3 students
- Willingness to learn new skills related to teaching assistance
