TEACHING ASSISTANT FOR ENGLISH
£11,564 to £12,036 a year, for 30 hours a week, term time
Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. The school is consistently oversubscribed yet has a genuinely comprehensive intake. The Governors of this successful school seek to appoint:
A Teaching Assistant for English. The role will involve taking one to one sessions and small group interventions as directed by the English Curriculum leader. It will also involve in class support in English lessons supporting Pupil Premium Students and occasionally completing administration tasks for the English Curriculum Area.
Previous experience in a School is not necessary but could be an advantage; ideally you will have some previous child related experience from tutoring, mentoring or summer camp work.
The salary is based on Single Status, Grade 4, Spinal points 8 to 10, £16,123 to £16,781. The actual salary is £11,564 to £12,036 a year. The hours of work are 30 hours a week term time only to include some after school intervention sessions however these hours could be flexible for the right candidate.
