Hackney New Primary School is an exciting new school striving to create something unique and special in the heart of London. We opened in September 2015 with an inaugural two classes of 25 children, and we now have 50 in each year group from Reception to Year 2.
Hackney New Primary School is distinguished by our commitment to music as a core subject alongside English and maths, and our mission to keep the development of the whole child at the centre of our work. Our school community share family-style meals together and all staff support aspects of the day such as mealtimes and play times. Please visit our school’s website to find out more about our vision and if we are the right school for you.
We are looking for a member of support staff to work with our teachers and children to ensure each and every child is happy and making excellent progress. We welcome applications from candidates with a range of experiences. The post could be ideal for experienced support staff or for graduates preparing for related careers or further study.
Join our happy team to help make Hackney New Primary School a special place to learn. We can offer you extensive professional development opportunities with a fantastic team of teaching staff. As the school grows, there will be room for our team members to grow with us.
Notably, we are offering our children breakfast club provision and an extended school day. The role of the Teaching Assistant will include supporting these sessions.
The headteacher welcomes informal discussions by telephone, so please contact us by e-mail to arrange.
