Brockworth Primary Academy caters for children from ages 4 – 11. There are approximately 330 children on our register in Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. We have large spacious classrooms, an ICT suite, iPads in every class, an academy library, excellent resources for the curriculum and attractive grounds, which include a pond, nature area and plenty of space for sports. We have many active sports teams including football, rugby and netball.
As a growing academy which serves Brockworth, we have a strong, supportive team of staff who are thoroughly committed to providing our children with the best possible opportunities to succeed. In addition, we are an academy that supports and grows our staff to fulfill their career dreams.
We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant who will work under the instruction and guidance of teaching and senior staff. Within this role, you will undertake work/care/support programmes to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. You will work with the wider school staff, local community and parents to ensure the development and education of pupils including those who have special educational, physical, and emotional needs. This is an exciting and varied role and would be suitable for those who are thinking about pursuing a teaching career or have previous experience within a similar setting. Although previous experience is desirable, an enthusiastic personality and a passion for the job is paramount.

Brockworth Primary Academy is a growing academy which serves the community of Brockworth in Gloucester. Our Curriculum
The curriculum in the academy falls into three phases known as The Foundation Stage which covers a child’s first year in the academy in the reception class; Key Stage 1 which covers children in academy years one and two and Key Stage 2 which covers the junior years in school, years three to six.
