Grade: Scale 2 – Point 3

Salary: £26,436 Pro Rata Term Time Only

Working Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Start Date: 23rd February 2026

Closing Date: 30th January 2026 (12 noon)

Interviews: 6th February 2026

This is for a fixed term contract ending February 2027

Bishop John Robinson is a vibrant and caring Church of England Primary School, rooted in Christian values and committed to nurturing the whole child. We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and passionate team.

Purpose of Job:

• To work with the Class Teachers/Line Manager to support outstanding progress for all pupils.

• To follow the school’s behaviour policy to promote excellent learning behaviours for all pupils.

• To support Class Teachers/Lane Manager to ensure classroom environments provide outstanding support for all pupils.

• To support Class Teachers/Lane Manager to ensure high quality resources are available for all learners.

• Supporting pupils identified on Special Educational Needs register as required.

We Are Looking for a Candidate Who:

• Has experience working in a primary school setting

• Holds a recognised TA qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3)

• Is committed to the holistic development of every child

• Demonstrates initiative, reliability, and strong teamwork skills

• Is supportive of the Christian values and ethos of our school

• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
