ABC Teachers are working in close partnership with a school in Hall Green, Birmingham to recruit a part time teaching assistant. The position will be working across all year groups within the school, on an ad-hoc basis where you’re needed most.

The school itself is a popular 2 form entry which is striving to become an outstanding school by providing all children with access to a creative and inspiring curriculum. The school also benefits from fantastic indoor and outdoor facilities and has strong connections within the local community. 

The successful candidate must:

- Be NVQ Level 3 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject

- Have excellent working knowledge of the curriculum 

- Be a pro-active and hard-working individual 

- Be able to engage with pupils of varying levels of ability

- Thrive as part of a team and also able to work on your own initiative 

- Be consistent in maintaining high standards

- Demonstrate clear boundaries and act as a positive role model to both pupils and colleagues

The position will be starting in December, as soon as the right candidate is found, and will continue on a rolling temporary basis until the end of the academic year.


Requirements:

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position, you will:

• Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification (equivalent or above) in a relevant subject 

• Have previous experience of working within a mainstream primary school (must be able to provide referencable experience within the last 5 years)

• Have a passion for education
