Due to the expansion of our Personalisation provision, Fulham Cross Academy Trust has a vacancy for full-time one year fixed term Teaching Assistants.

The Trust includes Fulham Cross Girls’ School, Fulham Cross Academy and Fulham Cross Sixth Form. We are a small Trust with a family feel committed to ensuring every student achieves their potential in a warm and supportive environment.

We are interested in hearing from both experienced TAs and graduates with the desire to progress into teaching eventually. Regardless of experience, we are looking for candidates who are positive, proactive, flexible and resilient. You must have the ability to quickly build strong professional working relationships with students. You must also have the ability to remove barriers to learning, have high expectations and provide rigorous academic support in and out of the classroom. Your support may include 1:1, small group work alongside in class work and the planning for this and collaboration with class teachers and key staff is an integral part of the role.

Fulham Cross Academy is in a fascinating position of augmentation; having formerly been a boys only school, we are nearly fully transitioned into a mixed school and have female students in Years 7, 8, 9 and our Trust Sixth Form. We are a STEM specialist school encouraging all of our students to pursue an interests in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. We cater for young people from the ages of 11 – 19 and we wish for all of our students to remain in the trust to complete their GCSE and A Level/Vocational education in our Trust Sixth Form, which we run alongside our Trust Secondary School partner – Fulham Cross Girls’ School.
