About Gladesmore Community School
Gladesmore Community School is a highly regarded and oversubscribed mixed comprehensive school for pupils aged 11–16, located in Tottenham near Stamford Hill and adjacent to Markfield Park.
There is a very clear and simple vision for our school: to provide an outstanding all-round education where our pupils make impressive progress in a positive, friendly, community atmosphere.
The Gladesmore Ethos is articulated through our REACH values, which begin with our pupil-designed motto: DREAM, REACH, ACHIEVE.
REACH stands for Respect, Enthusiasm, Aspiration, Cooperation, and Hard work.
At Gladesmore, we celebrate our pupils’ achievements — whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or through their creative endeavours. Staff are committed to ensuring that every pupil feels valued, respected and challenged by our engaging curriculum.
Our school is committed to developing partnerships that enrich our pupils' lives. Generous backing from Moody’s Corporation enables valuable mentoring and work experience opportunities that broaden our pupils’ horizons.
Our long-standing partnership with St Catherine’s College of Oxford University has given many of our pupils the opportunity to visit this world-leading centre of learning, teaching and research and also the oldest university in the English-speaking world. We are also proud of our partnership with the Royal Springboard charity, which enables our pupils to get fully funded scholarships to top boarding Sixth Forms.
At Gladesmore, we are extremely proud of our wide diversity of ethnic, linguistic and religious backgrounds and the tremendously rich culture that this provides. Our school is a place where pupils' abilities are nurtured in a safe and supportive environment so that they can excel academically.
Pupils are guided and supported by an excellent team of committed staff who work collaboratively with parents/carers to ensure that pupils become the best they can be.
Through this, our pupils achieve outstanding academic outcomes and go on to make valuable and significant contributions to society.
