We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our amazing support team at The Marlbrook Federation of Schools. Our TAs play a key role in inspiring our children to develop a love of learning. We are looking for someone who will not only enthuse pupils but relish their achievements and be committed to ensuring they are the best they can be.

 

The main responsibilities would be:

• To direct group activities within and away from the classroom.

• To assist with the assessment of children's progress.

• To assist with meeting medical, personal, academic, social and behavioural needs of pupils

• To assist with the preparation of materials and delivery of the curriculum.

 

The candidates will have:

• An empathic, patient and caring approach and the ability to support children struggling with expectations and boundaries and/or academic progress.

• The willingness to undertake further training, as appropriate.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Maths and & English GCSE, grade C or above and a relevant NVQ Level 2 qualification
