Falkner House is a very happy and successful selective school with bright and enthusiastic children.  The girls are based in SW7 and the boys are in SW5, each site has a co-educational nursery attached.  There is a strong academic tradition, the pace is fast, learning is enjoyable and the curriculum is broad.  The successful applicant will be motivated and enthusiastic with a strong interest in working with children.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required together with a strong work ethic and initiative.  Common sense, practicality, a very high standard of written and spoken English and above all a sense of humour are also required.  Teaching assistants at Falkner House play a significant role in the general life of the school.
